WINTER.... ODBDSLC92

Hey there!  Happy Saturday!!  Time for another ODBD Shining the Light challenge and this time we are challenging you to create a card using the word "WINTER".    The idea is to take at least three of the letters and use tools and/or embellishments starting with those letters to create your project.   For my card I managed to use all the letters in the word WINTER to create my card.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, January 13th at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries that are made without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on nor will they qualify for prizes.  While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award.   In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday, January 20th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC92. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.   Now... on to my card:

As I indicated I used tools and/or embellishments representing all the letters in the word WINTER to create my card.   Here is the list:   W- white cardstock; I - ink; N - Nesties; T - three designer papers; E - embossing & R - rhinestones and lace ribbon.  The stamps I used are from the ODBD set Simple Things. I embossed the red patterned paper, but unfortunately it is hard to see. The layout for my card comes from this month's Something For You to Try sketch.  Please make sure you check out the projects from my fellow sticks:    LoriJan MarieJanDebiChrisKathySabrina and Wanda (Guest Designer)!    To join in the fun, please click here.

Supplies:  Cardstock:  PTI white, Stampin Up! Baja Breeze; Memory Box Brioche DP; Stamps:  ODBD Simple Things; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black & SU! Baja Breeze; Copic Markers; Spellbinders dies; Recollections Rhinestone Flourish; SU! Modern Label Punch; White lace ribbon; Swiss Dot embossing folder

Wow Rosemary! First let me say the clover looks so real! Your coloring is perfect and when nestled on that lovely red panel... AMAZING! The pattern you selected reminds me of beautiful vintage calico and with that clover close by... it makes a farm girl swoon! Beautifully done my friend! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hey there, Rosie girl!! Glad to see you were able to utilize all the letters of winter, yet you still managed to bring SPRING into the card with this gorgeous card. Lot the pop of red amid the blue toned DPs too. Fantastic card! Hugs!
